Vakantiepas

Vakantiepas is a booklet for kids with all sorts of activities they can do with discount during summer. The theme of 2012 was ‘a traveling book’. So I created this character, a book with a face, arms, legs and a travelbag.

In 2013 the theme was ‘the young and the elderly’ I drew kids, grandma’s and grandpa’s, using real fabrics as a texture for their clothes and hair. I also came up with categories, including the icons for the different sorts of activities and I designed the typeface that is used for the headings.
